About Michele
Michele Cheauré is a NYC-based horn player from Los Angeles, California. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in French horn Performance from California State University, Northridge, where she studied under the mentorship of Dr. Annie Bosler and Dylan Hart. Michele is currently pursuing her Master of Music degree in French horn Performance at Mannes School of Music at the New School, studying with David Jolley.
As a performer, Michele has collaborated with artists such as the Martha Graham Dance Company and Serj Tankian of System of a Down. Her wind quintet, Indigo Winds, has worked with Ryan Roberts, Oboe/English horn of the New York Philharmonic, and participated in the Orchestra of St. Luke's Chamber Music Mentorship Program this year and has performed in their Young Artist Series Recital at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music. This summer, Michele will participate in the Los Angeles Film Conducting Institute’s Studio Intensive program at Warner Bros. Studios.
Michele has performed in other notable venues such as Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, the New York City Center, and the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts. She has toured in Oahu, Hawaii, Seattle, Washington, and the New York Metropolitan area. She is currently receiving a scholarship award at Mannes and previously received the Colburn Foundation Scholarship and Etude Music Club Award at CSUN.
